Congratulations, you’ve made it through the first 6 months of this very unusual year. Since many of us cannot travel due to the global pandemic, let me transport you to beautiful Zurich and show you one of my favorite bookshops – Travel Book Shop.
This little gem is located just a few streets away from Grossmünster, the landmark of Zurich, so you can hardly miss it.
Filled with thousands of maps, travel guides, and books, Travel Book Shop is a testament to a great love for travel.
You can get lost for hours in this bookstore just by going through their amazing map collection. I was very tempted to buy a vintage map of Africa and framed it for the wall, but in the end, I bought a modern map of Zurich.
I visited Travel Book Shop in January 2020, a few weeks before nearly all travel was halted due to pandemics. Looking at these pictures brings me warm memories of walking through Zurich during the rain, finding this amazing bookstore, and searching through their amazing offer.
