Bye, bye May!
May 2020 was a relatively normal month. We slowly emerged from the lockdown, many restrictions were removed, and it looked like things were going back to normal.
Artemis Fowl books
In terms of reading, May was the most successful reading month of the year so far. I read 9 books, 7 of which were Artemis Fowl books. I don’t know why I avoided Artemis Fowl books for so long because there are freaking awesome. It doesn’t matter that these books were written almost 20 years ago; they definitely stood the test of time.
Home decor
As always, there a lot to do around the house, so in May, we reorganized our lounge area / additional guest bedroom. It was a long-neglected part of our house that we mainly used for storage. Mom & I moved all unnecessary things from the room and cleaned everything. My siblings found some old furniture and decorated the room. The end lounge area looked unrecognizable and much better. Here is the result.
The weather was really nice, and I got inspired to draw and journal. Also, here is a glimpse of the jungle (my parents’ backyard). The foliage both inspires me and relaxes me a lot.
That’s all for May; it was a much better month regardless of lockdown measures and weather. I enjoyed spending time with my family and occasional walks. I hope you had an amazing month and that many more bright things are in your future!
