Bye, bye June!
Another day, another month has passed in a blink of an eye. I can’t believe we are already in July, time is passing like crazy. I spent most of June inside my city apartment cooking, reading and, watching TV.
Indian food
My most recent obsession is making Indian food. For a very long time, I was intimidated by the idea of making Indian food at home. It always seemed too complicated and I was afraid that the food won’t taste as good as the one from the restaurant. But with the help of Youtube, I finally mastered making Indian food.
Now, I’m making Indian food at least once a week. Chickpea and pumpkin curry are my all-time favorites but I also love Bombay potatoes and samosas.

Balcony makeover
In June we finally had sunny weather so we decided to tackle the big task of transforming our balcony. In our city apartment, we have a beautiful long balcony that somehow we never fully utilized.
We mostly used our balcony for storing all the things that we didn’t use. At one point we had 2 lounge chairs so that we can drink coffee in the morning. After our major declutter last year we got rid of those old lounge chairs and cleaned most of the junk that we stored on the balcony.

Now our balcony looks like a cute Parisian cafe and we even bought and planted some flowers. For the first time in 7 years (since we moved here) we have flowers on our balcony. It definitely pays off getting rid of all clutter.

See you soon in new blog post.
