As the snow is finally melting, it is time to start thinking about spring cleaning and decorating. Spring is not usually the time that I decorate for, but after the depressing fall and winter that we had, it’s good to take our minds from bad things.
Although we never decorate our apartment for any occasion other than Christmas, we have a vintage RV that we will be re-decorating this spring and summer.
I love decorating with Ikea items because they are beautifully designed, useful, and affordable. For my spring mood board, I used all items that you can currently find in Ikea. I especially liked all the pink and blue items from the new collection.
STRIMMIG mugs in pink color are the perfect spring mugs. They bring me joy just by looking at them. I love kitchen towels, so these cute Ginko leaf ones immediately caught my attention. A French press is always a good idea for the countryside; you can drink coffee inside, on your porch, or take it on a picnic. We really need a new French press, and this one will go great with pink mugs. KORKEN bottles are great for cooling freshly squeezed juice, making ice tea, or just as a water bottle. We always need more bowls and candles. The best new find for me is this amazing basket. The entire LUSTIGKURRE collection is sustainably handmade. It’s pretty and great for the environment.
